In January 2012 Faith hosted a Military Contact Pastor' Conference.

Pastors enjoyed presentations and a special visit to Fort Knox. Our church body, WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) has congregations all over the United States.  Some of those churches are located near military installations, just like Faith Lutheran.  Nearly 30 pastors who serve these congregations will be traveling to our area for the annual Military Contact Pastors’ Conference.  Soldiers from our church and community, as well as chaplains from Ft Knox will be sharing their experiences with these pastors to better equip them to serve our Soldiers and their families.  The pastors will also have the opportunity to hear from the Warrior Transition Unit chaplain and Wounded Warriors.
